FINAL RESULTS
Currumbin’s Jackson Close has won his second final at the 2007 Malfunction Surf Festival by taking out today’s Golden Breed Retro Open Mens. Yesterday Close won the Bic One Board Challenge Open Mens. Jackson Close who is rated number five in the world will enter the Surftech Mens Pro tomorrow at Rainbow Bay, Coolangatta, Queensland at 10.00am.
In today’s finals of the 2007 Malfunction Surf Festival: Golden Breed Retro Open Mens, Jackson Close (Currumbin); winner of the Golden Breed Under 18 Retro, Jeremy Prouten (Tweed Coast); winner of the Golden Breed Old Mal, Alex Bullpitt (Sunshine Coast). Tomorrow’s Malfunction program will include, the Surftech Mens & Womens Pro Divisions. Five times World longboard champion, Nat Young will be competing in the Dukes Longboard Over 50’s from 2.30pm.
