Surftech Men & Women's Pro events now ASP LQS
2 Star Rated
The Men and Women's Pro Divisions are now 2 Star rated Longboard Qualifying Series [LQS] events, sanctioned through ASP Australasia. The LQS is the new world regional longboard series and mirrors the WQS for shortboards, successfully run by ASP to underpin the WCT. Longboarding will now operate under the same type of structure. All regional ASP Branches handle entries and will field competitors, so we will have a great opportunity to see our Aussie Longboarders mixing it with the internationals. The increase in rating will influence the overall level of entrants and give our local riders valuable rating points.
